BREEDING OF AFRICAN CATFISH WITH SPOTMIX FISH

In the Yaroslavl region, Russia’s largest and most modern African catfish farm was opened in 2023. With an annual production capacity of 700 tons the industrial complex “Yaroslavsky Broiler” sets new standards in commercial aquaculture. The core of the facility is the automatic Spotmix Fish feeding system from Schauer Agrotronic.

The fully automated production process ranges from water treatment in recirculating aquaculture systems to precise feed distribution in 12 fish tanks. Spotmix Fish ensures demand-based, gentle, and precisely dosed feeding – adapted to age, growth, and water temperature. The pneumatic conveying system with stainless steel pipelines protects pellet structure, reduces feed losses, and improves water quality. The Qanto feeding computer automatically analyzes feed consumption, growth, and stock data and generates optimal feeding curves. Thanks to remote access, the system can be monitored and controlled at any time.
